NOTICE OF SCHOOL BOARD ELECTION
BISON SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 52-1
A School District Election will be held on April 9, 2024, in all the voting precincts in School District No. 52-1, Bison, South Dakota. If the polls cannot be opened because of bad weather, the election may be postponed one week.
The election polls will be open from seven a.m. to seven p.m. (Mountain Daylight Savings) on the day of the election.
At the election, the following offices will be voted upon:
- One (1) 3-year term for one board members residing anywhere in the District.

The polling place in each precinct of this District is as follows:
Precinct 1: Bison (Perkins County Fair Building) – Residents of Rockford, Anderson, Barrett, Burdick, Independence, Marshfield, Cash, Scotch Cap, Bison, Rainbow, Brushy, Bixby, Meadow, Richland, Vickers, Lone Tree, Chance, Grand Central, Chaudoin, Duell, Hall, Ada Townships and the Town of Bison.
Precinct 2: Prairie City (Beckman Memorial Church) – Residents of White Hill, Vail, Plateau, Strool, Jones, Maltby, Wells Antelope, Beck-Highland, Dillon, Vrooman, Sheffield, and Wyandotte Townships.
